About Us

Rick Klaproth, President/Owner of Klaproth Builders & Construction Co., has been in the construction field for 20+ years. In those years, he’s obtained a wealth of knowledge including the past 6 years as a Combination Building Inspector for Cities of Georgetown & Cedar Park. This included both Commercial & residential experience. His experience as previously being an Inspector has allowed him the Continued Education Courses on trades that perhaps other same type Builders may not have. This too has brought to light the realization of what are the “cream of the crop” crews per trade to work with locally. This contractor commoradery will bring you, the Homeowner, the best benefits as a potential new construction or remodel client. He will strive to use as many local resources as possible such as local stone quarries and eco-friendly products made or sold in Georgetown, TX.

Klaproth Builders & Construction Co. is locally owned & operated. Rick graduated from GHS in 1983 as did his wife, Stephanie in 1985. They have 3 wonderful, amazing, talented teenagers and all of them stay busy within the community. In his spare time, he enjoys working on and riding around in his 1955 Chevy pickup, hunting, fishing and RV’ing w/ his family and friends. We look forward to making you part of our family!
